What happens when communities are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support to care for their own?

Aunties Wisdom Doula Training brings together full-spectrum birthwork and community-based doula care, grounded in bodily autonomy and advocacy. Designed with Indigenous and rural Oklahoma communities in mind, this training prepares doulas to provide culturally responsive, whole-person support while helping families access the education and resources they deserve.

Training does not end when the course does. Graduates participate in continued mentorship and complete the required clinical and educational components needed to meet Tallchief & Co Birth Collective’s certification standards. Once all training, mentorship, and certification requirements are successfully completed, doulas are certified through Tallchief & Co Birth Collective, an Oklahoma Health Care Authority recognized certifying organization.

Our goal is not simply to train doulas, but to support them as they build their skills, develop confidence, and grow into trusted birthworkers within their own communities.
